The comedian and former Bullseye presenter Jim Bowen has died at the age of 80.
The Lancashire-born star presented the darts-themed TV gameshow, which was watched by more than 12 million viewers, and obtained cult status among university students, for 15 years in the 1980s and 1990s. Bowen became known for his Bullseye catchphrases "super, smashing, great" and "now look what you could have won".
A former deputy headmaster, he also took cameos in British TV shows such as Last of the Summer Wine and played roles in Jonathan Creek and Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights. Bowen said in 2011 that he had learned to "appreciate all the things in life" after suffering two strokes.
