The Irish Times writers Corinna Hardgrave and Lilly Higgins have been named restaurant writer and cookery writer of the year at the second annual Irish Food Writing Awards.
Corinna Hardgrave has been reviewing restaurants for The Irish Times since 2020; she now also writes a weekly takeaway review, highlighting the best places around Ireland for food on the move or that deliver to your door.
Lilly Higgins, who also won the inaugural cookery-writing award, last year, has been an Irish Times columnist since 2014. Her latest column, Spend Less, Eat Well, focuses on budget-friendly recipes for all the family.
The awards were presented on Thursday evening at Fallon & Byrne in Dublin, with 75 finalists from across the country in attendance.
