Two wines from Aldi this week, both chosen with summer in mind. I rarely feature wines selling for less than €7 as most don’t offer great value for money. However, the Soave below is an exception. The Aldi Unearthed Custoza (featured before) from the next-door neighbour of Soave is a step up in quality but costs €2 more.
Aldi has a decent range of rosé wines this summer. As well as the La Bonne Vie below, look out for the Unearthed Chiaretto di Bardolino (€9.99), the Costa Toscano (€8.99) and the Coteaux de Beziers (€8.99).
Castellore Soave 2023

Specially Selected La Bonne Vie Rosé 2023, Pays d’Oc
Light and refreshing with subtle raspberry and strawberry fruits. Perfect poolside wine, or with summer salads, and salmon dishes. 12.5% abv, €9.49.
