A woman has died following a car crash in east Mayo on Monday evening.
The victim was a passenger in a car that was involved in a two-vehicle road collision on the N17 near Kilkelly at about 6pm.
The woman, who is understood to have been in her early 90s, was taken by ambulance to Mayo Unversity Hospital where she died later.
Four other people were hospitalised for less serious injuries.

The N17 was closed to traffic for a time in order to facilitate an investigation by forensic accident investigators.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to to come forward.
Meanwhile, a man in his 20s has also died in a road incident in Omagh, Co Tyrone.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said he was the driver in the single vehicle crash involving an articulated truck on the Beltany Road that occurred shortly before 8.20am on Tuesday.
Witnesses and those who may have camera footage have been asked to make contact with police.
