Gardaí have thanked the public for their assistance after a 93-year-old man who went missing from his home in Co Kerry on Thursday evening was located.
Liam Brassil, from Sycamore View, Caherwisheen, was found on Friday night.
Gardaí had been very concerned for his welfare as Mr Brassil has reduced mobility and dementia.
Local gardaí, fire brigades, Banna Rescue and Civil Defence joined the search effort.
