It will be a cold and blustery day in Dublin on Sunday with rain, sleet and snow forecast. Met Éireann said some accumulations of snow may occur throughout the day leading to “potential disruption”.
Highest temperatures will be between 0-3 degrees, with fresh and gusty northeasterly winds becoming northerly later.
A status orange snow and ice warning for Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly and Wicklow will expire at 8pm on Sunday evening, with a status yellow snow and ice warning covering Dublin and Leinster until midnight.
An extended status yellow low temperature and ice warning will be in place for the entire country from 5pm on Sunday until midday on Thursday.

Met Éireann said the cold snap is set to continue over the next few days with plummeting temperatures likely to make driving difficult.
The national forecaster said rain, sleet and snow will clear during Sunday evening in Dublin to leave a very cold and icy night with widespread frost. Lowest temperatures are expected to range from -3 to 0 degrees with moderate to fresh northwest breezes.
It is expected to be bitterly cold in the capital on Monday with widespread frost and lying snow possible in places. There will also be sunshine and some scattered wintry showers developing, especially later in the day.
Top temperatures will generally range from 1 to 3 degrees.
