Gardaí investigating the murder of Eoin McCarthy (27), whose remains were found in Hollywood, Co Wicklow, in November 2005, have arrested a man.
The remains of McCarthy, of Ashwood Park, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, were discovered in a wooded area of Ballinagee, Hollywood.
Investigating gardaí arrested a man aged in his 40s on Wednesday evening.
He was being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at a Garda station in the eastern region.
