This week we met Jamie Mann in Dublin city centre. Jamie has worked in fashion retail for years and takes a very laid-back approach to his personal style. Not taking yourself too seriously can create a great effortless look.
Tell us about your outfit?
I got my jacket and top from Copson, their stuff is sick. I’m really into emerging street-wear brands. My white jeans are from Topshop. My runners are Gosha Rubchinskiy, I was lucky enough to get my hands on a pair in Copenhagen – they’re a new street-wear brand at the forefront of the Russian fashion industry.
How would you describe your personal style?
I don’t really have a personal style to be honest with you. I have never really thought of it like that. I just wear things I like, no point overthinking clothes. I am interested in fashion so whenever I see a good drop I’ll try to get a piece from it.
What are you looking forward to over the next few months?
Dublin is such a creative hub at the moment, it’s hard to choose. Beatyard was my only solid plan to date and it was deadly. I suppose I’ll take the rest as it comes and see what happens for the rest of the summer.
With regards to fashion, I am looking forward to seeing what product designers and stores will roll out for autumn/winter 16.
Hopefully Copson will release a new line, I’ll be pretty eager to get my hands on some of that. Otherwise, like I said, I don’t have any plans but some things will fall into place. We’ll see what happens.
