Irish abroad: Share your experience of the US and Canadian heatwave

Is it unpleasant, dangerous or welcome? Do you wish you were back home in cool, cloudy Ireland?

As an unprecedented heatwave hits the US and Canada, how are Irish residents of these countries coping? In Seattle and Portland – whose climate is typically closer to that experienced in Ireland – temperatures have his 42 and 46 degrees respectively.

Is it unpleasant, dangerous or a welcome change? What changes have you seen in how people are behaving, and in how the natural environment is reacting?Do you wish you were back home in cool, cloudy Ireland?
