If you are a wine buff who believes big is beautiful, then head for Berry Brothers & Rudd's shop on Harry Street, just off Grafton Street, Dublin 2, where the British wine merchant is displaying what it believes is "probably the biggest bottle of wine" in Ireland.
The Nebuchadnezzar, as it is known, from the leading Bordeaux estate Château Pichon-Longueville-Baron, contains 15 litres of wine, which, with a weight of 30kg, is the equivalent of 20 normal-sized bottles, or 120 glasses of wine. It takes two people to open and pour the bottle, as well as to operate a giant corkscrew. Only two Nebuchadnezzars are produced each year by the Pauillac-based chateau. This one costs €640. Joe Breen
