Christmas on the Square

There’s a delicious sense of tradition at Christmas on the Square, when many of the grand Georgian Houses on Dublin’s Merrion Square open up to the public. This year, they’ll play host to traditional music, tours, a pop-up café, family events, and craft workshops.

Do your gift shopping at the craft fair at the Irish Architectural Archive in No 45. Make festive decorations with Ruth from Appassionata Flowers (below), or throw a pot with ceramicist Adam Frew. Organised by the Merrion Square Innovation Network, and taking place on Saturday 29th November, all events are free, though some events should be booked (merrionsquare.ie).
