Eight young food companies win stalls at National Crafts & Design Fair

To celebrate the beginning of Food Month in The Irish Times, we have some good news for artisan food producers.

Eight young food companies have won their own stands in the food hall of the National Crafts & Design Fair at the RDS in December.

The following companies will be among the exhibits, having been awarded a stand through competition in the Magazine: Irish Wagyu Beef, a Dundalk company which raises Japanese Black Wagyu cattle; Ailbhe Gerrard's Brookfield Farm Hiveshare Honey; Andrea McNamara's Macarons (pictured above); Delish Melish, a company selling flavoured marshmallows; Naturally Cordial which sells premium cordials from organic fruits; Burren Balsamics condiments company; Kitty O'Byrnes; and Bernie Canning's Blast & Wilde – a range of products including flavoured butters and tapenades. The crafts fair takes place from December 3rd-7th.
