Our test and trace strategy is one of the best tools we have in the fight against Covid-19, and we’d like to hear about readers’ experience of the process.
If you had symptoms, how long did it take for you to get a test, from the time you contacted your GP or after-hours service?
Were you asked to pay for the consultation?
What was the testing process like?
And how long did it take to get your results?
If you tested positive, how did the contact tracing work from your point of view?
Or perhaps you were in close contact with someone who tested positive. If so, how long did it take for someone to contact you?
Did you subsequently get tested?
Did you social isolate while you waited for the test and results?
Whatever your experience of testing and tracing for Covid-19, The Irish Times would like to hear from you. You can use this form to submit your experiences. Please include dates where appropriate (max 800 words).
You can attach a photograph of yourself if you wish. If you would like to remain anonymous, please indicate this in your submission.
A selection of responses may be published online and/or in print as part of our coverage of the fight against Covid-19. Please note that it will not be possible to publish every submission we receive.
