Carrigmore is being developed by Devondale and built by established contractors Brian M Durkan & Company.

Over 500 homes have so far been sold at Carrigmore, making it one of the most successful schemes in this part of Dublin. The benefits are self-evident, with the M50 and N7 close by and the amenities of Citywest Hotel and Country Club on the doorstep.

The Durkan name is another plus and their traditional decorative brickwork is evident here. All-brick house fronts have brick soldier courses and window edging in contrasting brick colours.

Designed by Project architects, the emphasis is on light and space at Carrigmore. Living and bedrooms areas are a good size and internal layouts arranged for a good flow of accommodation.

The site is designed on a cul-de-sac theme, with attractive curved roads and a large landscaped area in the centre of five crescent-shaped apartment blocks.

Special features include fireplaces, built-in wardrobes, en suite shower rooms and downstairs toilets with all three and four-bedroom houses, good quality kitchens and bathrooms, tongue and groove upstairs flooring and buttermilk painted internal walls.

Under way and shaping up well, the landscaping is extensive, with a number of planted greens and public open spaces. The development adjoins the new Citywest golf course.

Previous schemes by Brian M Durkan and Devondale include Botanic Square in Glasnevin, Riverdale on Dargle Road, Bray and Richmond Square, Smithfield.
