Co Meath: from €265,000The first phase of Ard Cluain, a new apartment development off the main street of Clonee, Co Meath, is being launched today at prices ranging from €265,000 to €370,000-plus.

One to three-bedroom 46.8-94sq m (500-1,010sq ft) apartments are for sale through agent Hooke & MacDonald, which is opening show units in the village today. Two-bedroom units cost from €310,000.

Building work is well advanced on the first phase of what will eventually be a 71-unit scheme.

The development is laid out around two landscaped courtyards. There is planting to the centre of each building and landscaped open spaces surrounding the apartments. At ground floor level there are four retail units and a restaurant.

Clonee is a fast-growing suburb not too far a commute from Dublin city centre: it is served by a QBC bus route and is close to Blanchardstown centre.

The village itself has a post office, family butcher and a pub.

Ard Cluain is being developed by Beech Tree Properties and built by Hassett Construction.
