Lot 37, an Irish three-door mahogany library bookcase, €6,300 (€3,000-€5,000); Bog Flowers (oil-on-canvas) by Patrick Scott €2,300 (€2,500-€3,000). Three Figures at Night by Markey Robinson, with an Oriel Gallery stamp on reverse, estimated at €9,500-€10,000, failed to sell.
Thursday (September 15th) Ashgrove Auctions at The Pavilion, Punchestown Racecourse, Co Kildare. Conclusion of three-day sale of almost 3,000 props from the TV drama Penny Dreadful, with 97 per cent of lots sold.
