Provence/from €404,000: A new phase goes on sale this week at Les Domaines de Saint Endreol, a golf development in Var, Provence.  Kate McMorrow reports.

This joint French/Japanese project is under way on one of the best golf courses in France, just back from the busy Côte d'Azur. This, combined with traditional-look villas and top quality specification, has proved a winning combination for agent HOK and the Saint Endreol management team.

Saint Endreol is designed with pink and yellow walls, blue shutters and beautiful herb and lavender scented gardens. Each group of houses and apartments surrounds a communal pool, with private pools and gardens enclosing the larger villas. The club house has its own pool and includes a planned spa and fitness centre.

Selling from plans at HOK's Molesworth Street offices, this new phase - Hameaux du Castellet of Domaine de Saint Endreol - comprises townhouses, apartments and large villas with two, three and four bedrooms. Prices start at €404,000 for two townhouses which are due for completion by the end of this year. Nine townhouses in the final phase, expected to be ready by the end of 2006, cost from €419,000.

Six two and three-bedroom apartments in this final phase are priced from €460,000. Also for sale are six three and four-bedroom villas with private pools and planted gardens, priced from €743,000. These will be completed by mid-2005.

All the residences at Saint Endreol will be air-conditioned and include either a private garage or a parking space in a collective car-park.
