Show units open for viewing this weekend at The Crescent, Earlswood, a Capel Developments scheme off the Navan Road near Ashtown train station in Dublin 15. Earlswood is part of the new Rathborne village area which is maturing rapidly.

Savills Hamilton Osborne King will be taking bookings for 29 two and three-bedroom apartments, priced from €405,000 to €460,000 for a two-bed. Two-bedroom apartments are in the majority for sale in this phase. Four three-bedroom penthouses from €665,000 include the show unit, furnished by designer Nichola Pollard and priced at €710,000.

Designed by O'Mahony Pike, The Crescent will be positioned around a semi-circular park of over five acres. Strongest attributes include large timber windows and dual aspect rooms which filter good natural light. Sizes are also good. Two-bedroom apartments come in two layouts, one measuring 78sq m (840sq ft) and the other 80sq m (861sq ft).

High-gloss kitchens with walnut-look worktops come with appliances, including an oven and microwave. Bathrooms are the real show-stoppers, fully tiled in Spanish porcelain and with large shower trays and "rainfall" shower heads.

Three-bedroom penthouses are in duplex style and have 145sq m (1,561sq ft) of living space. Each bedroom is en suite and the largest room includes a full bathroom.

Balconies on two levels provide views over the mountains and Tolka Valley.

On the lower level are two bedrooms, living/diningroom, kitchen, while the main bedroom and study/media room are upstairs.

Completions are scheduled from February to summer this year.
