For sale with Murphy Mullan estate agents, the new A-rated houses go on view for the first time this Saturday and Sunday between 2pm and 4pm.
Developed by PG Homes, there are 19 properties in the development in total but only the first eight four beds will be launched this weekend, with prices ranging from €465,000 to €485,000.
The development also includes three-bed semi-detached, three-bed mid-terraced and three to four-bed three-storey homes, which will be launched at a later date at prices which are expected to be more than €400,000.
Given the current shortage of family homes in the capital at present, Richard Mullan of Murphy Mullan estate agents said he is expecting strong interest in this weekend's viewings.
“The enquiries to date have been off the scale so we’d expect big numbers to show up to the viewings at the weekend.
“Their big selling point is the close proximity to town. They’re all proper houses, with living space of 1,400sq ft in the four beds and that type of property is unheard of at the minute close to the city.
“Their energy rating is a big factor for people too but I’d advise people to come prepared to buy at the weekend because unfortunately there probably won’t be enough to serve the demand so all we can do is operate on a first-come, first-serve basis,” said Richard.
Amongst the many features of the new homes are landscaped gardens, zoned heating and solar panel water heating systems and fitted kitchen and wardrobes.
Murphy Mullan will also be showing new three-bed homes at The Belfry, St Mary’s Road, Crumlin, Dublin 12 this Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 4pm.
Also developed by PG Homes, the A3 rated properties have prices starting at €375,000.
