Built by O’Malley Construction in the late 1990s, Sunbury Park is a small enclave just off Dartry Road in Dublin 6.
The current owners of Number 15 purchased their home in 2017 for €895,000, according to the Property Price Register. “At the time, the dining space was an internal room with no windows, so we really wanted to change that,” say the owners.
The couple engaged architectural and interiors firm Optimise Design to come up with a solution that suited the family’s needs and to provide a better layout. The owners will miss the “way the house feels tucked away” despite being located near a busy road with everything you could need on the doorstep, and will also miss “the lovely neighbours”.
Number 15 Sunbury Park, which is in turnkey condition, is now on the market though DNG seeking €1.195 million. As it happens some neighbours are selling too. Next door, Number 16, a four-bedroom house with 181sq m, is listed at €995,000, while Number 17, a five-bedroom house with 225sq m, has been listed sale agreed; it was seeking €1.27 million through Hunters.
