A modern house with a traditional style close to Dalkey village has many good features – but most of all, its view. The house, built into the side of a hill high above Dublin Bay, looks out over the rooftops of houses spilling down the hill towards the coast and far over the bay to Howth.

Balcony

Double doors from here open into the livingroom, where a wide picture window takes full advantage of the view, as do floor-to-ceiling windows in the adjacent diningroom. This is connected to the livingroom by French doors.

Both have period-style marble fireplaces, recessed lighting and coal-effect gas fires. French doors open from the diningroom onto a timber balcony.

There's a matching timber balcony off the kitchen, on the other side of the drawingroom. Views
