US CAR TROUBLE:US President George W Bush had some car trouble last week. His limousine briefly stalled during a ride to the American embassy in Rome and then could not squeeze through its gates. His meeting with the Sant'Egidio group had already been relocated to the US embassy from the Trastevere neighbourhood, partly over concerns that the presidential motorcade would not be able to make it through its narrow, cobblestone streets.
RED BULL FACEOFF:Red Bull is to put race fans rather than sponsors on its Formula One car for the British Grand Prix. Instead of the regular red and blue team colours, for one race only the Red Bull Racing RB3 will be lining up on the grid in Silverstone displaying the faces of more than 50,000 race fans. The cars will be driven by David Coulthard and Mark Webber. Fans can visit redbullf1.com and upload images for £10 and it is hoped it will raise €1m for charity.
