Sir, – With regard to Hilary Fannin’s column (April 25th) about women over the age of 50 becoming invisible, I would like to say that I find many women in that category looking better than ever, including, if I may say so, your correspondent, judging by the photograph which adorns her (hilarious) articles. My only complaint is that since reaching the age of 80 I have become invisible to them. Yours, etc,
