THE SOCIAL NETWORK:Temple Bar Gallery Studios celebrated its 30th anniversary on Thursday afternoon. The Minister for Arts, Jimmy Deenihan, told guests that he'd been in Brussels the previous evening for the launch of Changing States: Contemporary Irish Art Francis Bacon's Studio, in the Bozar fine-arts museum.

Deenihan said that looking at the gallery’s programme “and looking what’s going on in Temple Bar, there’s something that could keep you occupied every evening and every day as well”.

He praised the chairman of Mason, Hayes Curran, Declan Moylan, for his firm’s support of Temple Bar Gallery Studios. Moylan has a museum-quality personal collection of Irish art in his house in Ballsbridge and has also encouraged his law firm to support and collect Irish art.
