The Top 10 Irish beaches according to Tripadvisor readers

Inchydoney in Co Cork wins first place with Derrynane and Inch in Co Kerry following

Tripadvisor has announced its top 10 Irish beaches as part of their 2015 Travellers Choice Awards.

Inchydoney in Clonakilty, Co Cork scooped the number one position as the best beach in Ireland, with one reader commenting "to walk along the beach in the warm Irish sunshine isn't far short of wonderful."

After Inchydoney came Derrynane and Inch Beach, both in Co Kerry, in second and third place.

Lahinch in Co Clare was fourth and Rossbeigh in Co Kerry was fifth. Amongst the other winners were Curracloe, Co Wexford, Banna strand, Co Kerry, Kilmurvey on Inishmore island, Salthill in Galway and Portmarnock in Dublin.
