A 17-year-old schoolgirl and musician who suffered pins-and-needles in her left arm after writing or playing in her band has been awarded £10,000 damages in the Circuit Civil Court. The court president, Mr Justice Smyth, heard that Ms Bernadette Long, of Kilcarrig Green, Tallaght, Dublin, was hurt when her father's car crashed into another vehicle three years ago.
