Dhaka - Bangladesh police said yesterday they have now arrested 41 Islamic extremists in connection with an attempt on the life of a local poet, Mr Shamsur Rahman.
Militants stormed the Dhaka home of Mr Rahman on the night of January 18th and threatened to kill him. He escaped unhurt but his wife suffered minor injuries.
