A Tipperary woman who died in a car accident outside Carrick-on-Suir early yesterday morning has been named by garda∅.
Jacinta Keevan (23), from Collins Park in Carrick-on-Suir, died when the car in which she was a passenger lost control at Lisadobber, four miles outside the town on the main Kilkenny road.
Local garda∅ have appealed for witnesses to the incident, which occurred at 1.10am. The male driver of the car was not seriously injured.
Ms Keevan worked as a bar person in Kehoe's pub in Kilcash, outside Clonmel.
