Serious irregularities, including the theft and loss of ballot papers, have forced the suspension of elections for worker-directors at Aer Lingus. The returning officer, Mr Greg O'Sullivan, is investigating the possibility of holding a postal ballot to overcome the difficulties which have arisen with so far.
