The Garda at Donnybrook in Dublin has issued an appeal for information after a woman was found with serious injuries in Herbert Park on Friday last.
The woman, who is in her 30s, was discovered lying face down on a lane beside the park near the Dodder at 7.20pm.
She was taken to St Vincent's Hospital for treatment and was later transferred to Beaumont Hospital where her condition is described as critical.
A garda spokesperson said it is believed that she used this route regularly to exercise but it is not known how she sustained her injuries.
