There were no registered packages, jewellery or cash in the Parcelforce van hijacked by armed men at Balrothery in north county Dublin on Wednesday night, the Garda Press Office has said. The van was still missing late yesterday afternoon. The driver, who was tied up, driven around, and transferred to a second stolen van before he managed to free himself said he had been treated in a "mannerly" fashion by the hijackers.
