Jerusalem - The Israeli Prime Minister, Mr Ehud Barak, warned yesterday he would resort to force if Jewish settlers refuse to dismantle 10 illegal outposts in the West Bank under a deal that has infuriated Palestinians.

"If the settlers do not respect the agreement with the Prime Minister, he will not hesitate to resort to force to evacuate the 10 implantations which must be dismantled," Mr Barak's spokeswoman, Ms Mirav Parsi-Zaddok, said.
