Barrister and former Attorney General Mr John Rogers SC had his driving licence restored at Navan District Court yesterday. Judge John Brophy was told Mr Rogers, of Crewbawn, Slane, had been off the road for 13 months, having been banned from driving for two years following a drink-driving offence. He said it had caused him considerable inconvenience. He gave the court a commitment not to drink and drive again.
