Northern Ireland's Apprentice Boys kicked off this year's marching season with a low key parade in South Belfast today.

Northern Ireland's Apprentice Boys kicked off this year's marching season with a low key parade in South Belfast today.

The march which was rerouted to avoid a number of nationalist areas passed off without incident.

Members of the Apprentice Boys also marched in the north of the city today, again without serious incident.

Several thousand Apprentice Boys and supporters were expected to take part in another parade later in the day in Derry.
