A Belfast tourist is missing off the coast of the Canary Islands, a British embassy spokesman said.
Mr John Johnston (57) is believed to have got into difficulties when swimming at Lanzarote's main resort, Puerto del Carmen, yesterday. A search has not found any trace of him.
