Italian Jarno Trulli will be joining Benetton for the 2002 season, the Formula One team confirmed today.
Yesterday, Jordan said Giancarlo Fisichella would trade places with Trulli and join their team in 2002 on a three-year contract.
Renault-owned Benetton have exercised an option they held on Trulli who has been at Jordan since the start of last season after previously driving for Prost and Minardi.
Benetton's other driver is Jenson Button, who is on loan from Williams until 2003. The Benetton statement did not mention Button or the length of Trulli's contract.
