Bongo amused by US election

Libreville - Gabonese President Omar Bongo yesterday poked fun at the US election. "The Americans have not totally mastered democracy and thus don't have lessons to give," he said. Mr Bongo suggested the US adopt direct elections "to avoid the current situation in the future".
