Bord Gais has frozen prices to residential customers for the next three years, it was announced yesterday. A high-profile advertising campaign will be launched in the coming weeks to promote the move, the company said.
The "Price Freeze" promotion was unveiled amid increases in the cost of home heating oil, prompted by a 68 per cent rise in crude oil prices over the last 12 months.
