SOMALIA: An 11-year-old Somalian asylum-seeker died yesterday after collapsing following an incident in a school dining hall.
It is understood the boy was involved in a scuffle with a fellow pupil at All Saints Secondary School in the Barmulloch area of Glasgow shortly after 11.30 a.m. He was taken to the city's Stobhill Hospital but later died.
Glasgow City Council said the boy, who had lived in Glasgow for over three years, fell ill in the school dining area during a mid-morning break. Police said inquiries were continuing.
