Two Britons were killed in a road accident in Cavan yesterday

Two Britons were killed in a road accident in Cavan yesterday. The couple, in their 60s, died after their car crashed into an articulated lorry at Drumgora, five miles outside Cavan town. The lorry driver was taken to Cavan General Hospital.

Meanwhile, a man was killed in a road accident outside Cork city yesterday. He died after the car he was driving and an articulated lorry collided at 6 p.m. at Mitchelsfort. The lorry driver was uninjured.
