Racing:Camelot is expected to return to training next season. Aidan O'Brien's 2000 Guineas and dual Derby winner was admitted to Fethard Veterinary Hospital on Thursday evening where he underwent surgery for colic.
The three-year-old colt is now at Coolmore Stud where he will recuperate before returning to O’Brien’s Ballydoyle base if all goes well.
A tweet from Coolmore read: “Camelot has arrived at Coolmore from Fethard Veterinary Hospital and is in good shape. He is expected to return to training for 2013.
“A big thank you to the surgeons & the team at the hospital who worked around the clock along with all the staff at Ballydoyle & Coolmore.”
