Cannabis worth an estimated €400,000 has been seized in Co Limerick by gardaí investigating the sale and supply of drugs in the region.
The haul was found during a search of an “open area” at Ballyhahill in Glin, a Garda spokesman said.
Nobody has been arrested in connection with the discovery and investigations are ongoing.
Separately, a man (42) was arrested in Wexford after the seizure of cannabis plants worth up to €250,000 in the Screen area.

The plants were discovered during a search of a house.
The man is being detained at Enniscorthy Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
