Bogota - Colombian government officials said a possible ceasefire would be the item topping the agenda at the talks which began yesterday between FARC rebels and Colombian government representatives.
The officials in Bogota, who declined to be named, said government negotiators planned to raise the matter as the first item in the talks - the first to be held since the leftist Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) in November unilaterally suspended its participation in the peace process.
