Constituency:Dublin Political career: First elected to the Dáil in 1987, Kitt served as a minister of state before being appointed Chief Whip. Although the new Government has a strong majority, Kitt will be deploying his diplomatic skills in dealing with the Greens, PDs and, particularly, the Independents.
