The Minister for Education has given the go ahead for the construction of a further phase of Dun Laoghaire Regional Technical College and College of Art and Design to cater for 500 more students at an estimated cost of £4.5 million.
Ms Breathnach, who is a TD for Dun Laoghaire Rathdown, was speaking yesterday at the official opening of the college's refurbished administration, library and lecture theatre.
