GAA:David Collins was named on the bench for Galway ahead of Sunday's Walsh Cup final against Dublin, while Anthony Daly has made just one change to the side that defeated Wexford in the semi-final.
Collins, former player of the year for the Tribesmen, returns to the Galway fold after missing the last two seasons after sustaining a broken ankle in late 2007.
Manager John McIntyre had to plan without Richie Murray and Andy Coen, who withdrew from the squad due to work and other committments.
Gary Maguire has been selected in the Dublin goal and will take over from Alan Nolan.
The Dublin team to take on Tipperary on Saturday remains a strong one with several players who lined out with their colleges in the Walsh Cup making their first appearance of the year at senior county level.
