Courts to shut Irish stores

British furniture retailer Courts will withdraw from the Irish market, through either a trade sale or closure of its stores.

British furniture retailer Courts will withdraw from the Irish market, through either a trade sale or closure of its stores.

Courts which last month reported a drop in third quarter 2000 sales, said closure of its three stores in Dublin would take place by mid-April if a trade purchaser was not found.

The company gave no immediate details of job losses.
