Colm Coyle and Luke Dempsey both stepped down from their respective positions as Meath and Longford managers after losing their All-Ireland SFC qualifiers last night.
Coyle resigned less than 24 hours after their comprehensive defeat to Limerick in last night's All-Ireland SFC qualifier defeat at the Gaelic Grounds.
Coyle's side lost 4-12 to 4-03 to end their participation in this year's championship. Under his stewardship the Royals reached last year's All-Ireland semi-finals but have struggled to make the same impact this time around.
Dempsey also took the decision to step down after Longford lost 0-11 to 1-10 against Laois.
