The UK-based mediation provider CEDR has acquired IDRS, a dispute resolution service provider, from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, leaving the institute to concentrate on its core business as a chartered professional and membership body.
The merger was concluded earlier this month. CEDR and the institute are planning to co-host a joint mediation- focused event in early 2012 on the future for research into dispute resolution.
