Gardaí in Tallaght, Dublin, are investigating the alleged rape of a teenage girl at Springfield on Sunday evening.
It is the second serious sexual assault that Gardaí in the area are investigating. The previous week a 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped in the Rossfield area.
No arrests have been made yet and the gardaí said they are satisfied the two incidents are not connected.
